Friday, December 17, 2010
A Riverside County high school teacher was arrested on Thursday for allegedly molesting a child.
Stephen Wolford, 48, was taken into custody at his home on suspicion of lewd acts with a child under 14 with force.
Investigators at the Jurupa Valley Sheriff's station received a report of possible child molestation in June and conducted an investigation. The district attorney's office reviewed the case and issued an arrest warrant.
Wolford is a teacher at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Corona. He was released on $25,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
